 s critical components of its business. 
 PseudoCo has 50\,000+ full-time
  and contract employees who are spread over hundreds of locations worldwid
 e. They typically run three types of offices:

 Branch offices
 
 In addition\, a growing perce
 ntage of PseudoCo’s workforce is hybrid or fully remote.
 Project 'Mete
 or' 
 PseudoCo's project Meteor was created to modernize their firewall 
 estate due to a proliferation of applications\, the rise of AI technologi
 es\, and an increasingly mobile workforce which continues to expand the at
 tack surface.
 PseudoCo chose Cisco's Hybrid Mesh Firewall because it is
  a highly distributed security fabric managed under a single interface (Se
 curity Cloud Control) that protects applications no matter where they live
 . It makes it easy for them to reduce the attack surface\, prevent comprom
 ise\, and stop lateral movement in their data center\, cloud\, campus\, an
 d factory.
 Project Meteor has been broken up into 3 key phases to reduce
  disruption to the workforce:
 Phase 1 Network Zone Based Segmentation &
 amp\; DC Edge: Login to Cisco Security Cloud Control\, onboard physical f
 irewalls\, create policy to identify applications\, simplify branch connec
 tivity and configure Policy Based Routing
 Phase 2 Cloud Edge: Login to 
 Cisco Security Cloud Control\, enable cloud visibility\, gather DNS flow l
 ogs\, shared objects and setup tagging
 Phase 3 Macro/Micro Segmentation:
  Login to Cisco Security Cloud Control and configure policy to protect app
 lication workloads
 You have been assigned to the firewall modernization 
 project 'Meteor' to configure and deploy the new Hybrid-Mesh Firewall solu
 tion PseudoCo has purchased from Cisco.
